Kate Gives Birth to Her Baby!
Move over North West, there’s a newbie in town. And you won’t have to swim across the pond to get a taste to the royalty. Westchester’s own Katie Schlientz, food writer and social media celebrity, finally gave “birth” to IntoxiKate.com, a website devoted to living life deliciously.
IntoxiKate changes the way food is experienced in Westchester. It creates an environment where restauranteurs and diners can connect in a whole new way—through events, introductions to chefs and tasting the latest culinary trends. With some of the most innovate foodies hosting pop up restaurants, rolling out food trucks and creating farm to table menus, it’s time Westchester is recognized as a foodie destination.

ABOUT KATIE
Writer and social media celebrity Katie Schlientz worked in the publishing industry for over ten years before launching IntoxiKate.com, a website dedicated to discovering the best food in Westchester, NY. Her work has appeared in several publications including Woman’s World Magazine, The Journal News, InTown Westchester, Rockland Magazine, The Bridal Book, AKC Gazette, and Family Dog in both editorial and design capacities. She was previously the author of two blogs: Single in the Suburbs (for the Journal News/LoHud.com) and Katie Eats A Lot (a food blog dedicated to single living). She currently serves as creative director for Bruckner Design, Inc., a marketing and advertising firm based in White Plains, NY. She also teaches social media, blogging and design classes at the Scarsdale Adult School. She lives in Westchester, where she enjoys checking out new restaurants and hosting parties for her foodie friends.
