  • Wednesday through Saturday evenings: dinner at 6:30 p.m. and show 8 p.m.
  • Sunday matinees: lunch at noon and show at 1:30 p.m.

The story takes place during a few days in the life of a tight-knit community in New York City’s Washington Heights and centers on the importance of home, family and the need to find one’s place. The score and dance span three generations of music, from rap to moving ballads to salsa.

When it appeared on Broadway in 2008, the play also won Tony awards for Best Musical, Best Original Score, and Best Orchestrations; it received a Grammy for Best Musical Show Album.

The new production is presented and directed by John Fanelli, a veteran play director for Westchester Broadway Theatre and the founder of the recently formed Standing Ovation Studios in Armonk.
