Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture in Pocantico Hills is looking to fill both salaried jobs and unpaid volunteer positions in its Farm Camp program, now entering its tenth season. Click here to download an in-depth brochure describing Farm Camp 2014.

The nonprofit farm and education center operates a four-season farm dedicated to developing a healthy and sustainable food system through the educating and training of young farmers.

Vacancies with salaries fall into the following four categories: (1) Farm Camp Assistant Director, (2) Farm Camp Counselor, (3) Farm Camp Instructor and (4) Farm Camp Cooking Specialist. Candidates need to be available from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., from June 16, 2014 through August 15, 2014.

Hundreds of volunteers participate in the Center's programs and work in activities such as administration, agriculture, livestock and visitor services (classes, tours and workshops).

More information about the opportunities available for paid employees, volunteers, and counselors-in-training is given below.
