Beauty New Year’s Resolutions

How many women want to make a change in the “Beauty Department” in 2013?

One of the #1 New Year’s Resolutions people make is to lose weight, followed by spending less and saving more. Falling in love and making more time for family were also amongst the top resolutions people commonly make. I am curious how many women want to make a change in the “Beauty Department” of one’s life?  Where do you start?

Did you make a Beauty or Cosmetic Resolution? Maybe you love a tanner version of yourself, so make the choice to indulge in spray tanning sessions weekly. To commit to airbrush tanning sessions, I would suggest purchasing a package of tans. In addition, to making a commitment with a series of tans you will save money, because a series of tans is always less expensive than purchasing individually.

Perhaps you are sick of using the current makeup you have, maybe it is old and consists of the wrong shades? A wardrobing session that includes accurately color matching you and replenishing old makeup is what your Beauty Expert would recommend for you! Even if you want to spice up your morning makeup routine, introducing a different color eye liner could be a realistic change to make and commit to. Take action, make a change and commit is exactly where you start with addressing your 2013 Beauty Resolution.

No matter what your Beauty New Year’s Resolution is I would recommend getting Expert advice before you implement any changes to ensure you have the correct product, technique and tools. Most important have fun and enjoy every beautiful moment of life!

A big part of the problem is that the teachers' expectations about what supplies are necessary haveRead More become so extreme. When my kids were in school in Tarrytown, we would get a list at the beginning of every school year of the supplies we needed to buy. The parents were asked to buy a separate looseleaf binder for every single class our kids were taking and, for some classes, they asked for a looseleaf AND a spiral notebook. When I was in school, each kid had ONE looseleaf and we separated classes with dividers. Having SIX or seven loose leafs adds to backpack weight and costs a lot of money. My kids supply bills were often close to $100 apiece. The teachers have bought into this idea that all of these supplies are necessary and they are not. I'm not surprised that Staples is offering "rewards programs." Their advertising and marketing efforts have convinced the teachers that you must have a package of 12 red correcting pens, per child.
