Never put a price on your beauty needs

It was about a year ago that I eavesdropped on a conversation between my best friend and colleague Jill Imbrogno of JK Flashy Makeup and her client.  While Jill was applying her makeup, this young lady kept telling her that she hates her crows feet, her reoccurring acne, and can't land a good makeup and hair day for the life of her. Jill then told her to start a monthly facial regime, invest in a makeup wardrobing  session, and to get her hair colored and cut by a credible stylist.  The client looked at her and said, " I know. I know. I'm just broke right now."  I related to the client for a minute until I heard the 10 most significant words come out of Jill's mouth. She said, "YOU SHOULD NEVER PUT A PRICE ON YOUR NECK UP."    Jill's comment stuck in my mind like peanut butter to jelly.  It is the truth though isn't it?  Us girls in our 30's+ walk around with almost $800 cell phones, drink almost $5 Starbucks coffee daily, drop money like its water at the newest coolest restaurants, shop every shoe sale that's blasted through email, and spend like nothing when it comes to gym and fitness. What about our best accessories though? Our face? Our hair!? I don't know about you but I can be in sweatpants, pajamas, or jeans and a tee and I am fine and dandy as long as my hair is blown out and my makeup is on a freshly hydrated and cleansed face. I'm Pretty positive that most of you ladies would agree with me when I say that there is something so complete feeling when your hair and makeup is done. Now I know what your thinking. I am in the industry so it's easy for me to get this all done?  One would think. But not true. I think I've spent more on my hair and face in the past year than I do a years worth of car payments. Sshh. Our secret.    I broke it down for you.  It's not that bad after all! Half a head of highlightes and a haircut can go anywhere from $200-250 including tip. Save $6 dollars for 42 days and voila..you can get your hair done every 6 weeks! Come to Salon POSH for your first time and you get an automatic 15% deducted from your total.    Empty your pockets of $2 dollars a day for a month and you can get your makeup done professionally once a month.  Double that to $4 a day and you can get two made up hot Saturday night dates a month. Of course only with the JKFlashy.com artists.  We only stick with the best, remember?  Hydra facial? Ever heard of it? The best 20 minutes of facial cleansing in life. Your skin glows like the top of the Empire State Building! The best part? 6 sessions of this glorious service is equivalent to plastic surgery. Yup! Smoothes and diminishes lines, lifts, and says bye bye to pores! I am addicted to AnnMarie DiGiacomo and her hydra facial machine at the Advanced Medical Spa of Rye. Save $6 dollars a day for a month and you've got this incredible experience at your fingertips. Now do this 5 more times and you just saved yourself thousands towards plastic surgery!    Drum roll please......injectibles! Yes I said it. I love them. I believe in them. And no it doesn't mean your going to automatically look like a clown faced Janice Dickinson or Joan Rivers!!  Not if you go with someone who knows what their doing. Dr Marc Epstein is one of my favorite people that walk the face of this planet. After just one session with him I now address him as Dr. God.  He is also very good at emailing his clients with seasonal and monthly specials. Why not get your family, friends, and significant other in on this action? Being that injections should be administered on an average of every 4-6 months, why not ask for gift certificates or money towards this for Birthdays, Christmas, Hannukah, and Valentines day?  No cost for you but you have everything to show for!
