This past Saturday, listeners packed into the Master's School's historic Estherwood Mansion to experience the Second Annual Westchester Poetry Festival. Drawing a crowd of over 150 people, the poetry festival was a great success. Rigoberto Gonzalez wowed an eager audience with poems from his various published works, including his newest collection Black Blossoms. The enlightening workshops and readings that took place throughout the afternoon left all who participated feeling inspired and impressed by the amazing array of poetry that is being written today, and no doubt excited by the prospect of further exploring this ever-expanding literary world.
