Joseph DiQuattro, Formerly of North Tarrytown

Joseph DiQuattro of Hawthorne and formerly of North Tarrytown died February 28, 2013 at the age of 80. Joseph was born in N. Tarrytown on June 11, 1932. He was the son of John and Josephine Schembari DiQuattro. He attended N. Tarrytown High School. In 1951, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served honorably until 1955. He remained a member of the Coral Sea Assn.

On April 27, 1957, he married Frances Martorana in Immaculate Conception Church. Joseph was retired after a long career at Commerce Offset Printing. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Thornwood and was a former member of the Italian American Club in N. Tarrytown and the Italian American Club of Mount Pleasant.

Joseph is survived by his beloved wife Frances as well as his loving daughters Lynn J. DiQuattro of Tarrytown and Lisa J. (Robert M) Collins of Hawthorne and his loving grandson Robert Joseph Collins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews and he was predeceased by his sister Rose Pluchino.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. His Funeral Mass will be Monday at 10:00 at Immaculate Conception Church in Sleepy Hollow with interment to follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
