Longtime Tarrytown Resident Ralph Brady Dies

Ralph Joseph Brady, longtime Tarrytown resident and retired plumber, died on Sept. 29 at the age of 63.

Ralph Joseph Brady, longtime Tarrytown resident died September 29, 2012 at the age of 63. Born in the Bronx on January 7, 1949, he was the son of Oscar and Rita Iarossi Brady. Ralph was a plumber having retired from Martinello Plumbing in Elmsford.

On September 5, 1971, he married Mary K. Geissler in Transfiguration Church. He was a co-founder of TNT Baseball, a member of the Eagles Aeries 1042, the Knights of Columbus St. Elmo Council #318 and the Plumbers Union.

In addition to Mary, his wife of 41 years, Ralph is survived by his children John (Erin) of Ossining, Thomas of Tarrytown and Steven (Lydia) of East Meadow, NY. He was the beloved Pop-Pop to Jack Taylor Brady, Liam James Brady, Henry James Brady and May Kelly Brady. He is also survived by his mother Rita Brady of Hartsdale, his brother Scott (Patricia) of Georgia and his mother-in-law Katherine M. Geissler as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. His Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at Transfiguration Church at 10 AM with interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
