JOB FORUM THIS THURSDAY

NEW JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN WESTCHESTER: FEBRUARY 27, 2014--10:30 TO NOON AT GREENBURGH LIBRARY  A FREE FORUM
Over  5 years ago I formed a job club. Every few days I share job openings that I learn of with people who subscribe to the e list. If you are out of work and want to receive e mail alerts about jobs please e mail me at pfeiner@greenburghny.com. If you know of job openings that I can share with neighbors who are currently out of work, please e mail me that info. I will be happy to share the information with those people looking for work.  I also post job openings on linkedin.com (greenburgh jobs group) and on my facebook pages.

We are holding our 5th forum for people who are out of work ---these forums are designed to provide tips that could help people find work.  The next forum will be held on February 27th at the Greenburgh library.

Our speakers will focus on the variety of opportunities, requirements, respective skills needed to help candidates be better prepared as applicants, hints for career changers and how to apply for positions in this field. Speakers include: Robert Cioffi, CEO, Progressive Computing, Inc. Mr. Cioffi is president of a computer consulting and network design and maintenance firm which serves clients in Westchester County and Manhattan.  We are pleased that he will be speaking about the job opportunities and skills needed to be a successful applicant in the IT industry.

Faculty members and administrators from Westchester Community College, including Dennis Ramos, Associate Professor, Computer Science, along with Jeanne Maloney, Director of Special Projects and Judith Kelson Director, Mainstream will speak about what skills you can learn at the College, what job titles you can prepare for by taking the courses/programs offered and how to get started if you want to.
