[November 22, 2013 – Yonkers, NY] – To celebrate the eight nights of Hanukkah, LEGOLAND ® Discovery Center Westchester will include LEGO® brick dreidel building as an option in Master Model Builder classes throughout each day from November 27th through December 5th.

Guests who visit LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester during the Festival of Lights will be the first to learn from the attraction’s experts how to assemble a LEGO brick dreidel – the traditional four-sided spinning top, used during Hanukkah to play a popular children's game.

“We wanted to do something special to mark this joyous time, and what better object for our Master Model Builders than a beautiful children’s toy,” said Chris Mines, General Manager of LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester.  “We hope all of our guests will join us for this exciting cultural activity.”

Of course, guests will also get to enjoy the attraction’s range of interactive experiences, including its 4D cinema, two LEGO amusement rides and MINILAND – the venue’s signature re-creation of landmark locations and buildings throughout Westchester County and New York City, made entirely out of LEGO bricks. Free Wi-Fi is available for parents at the attraction.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester is a $12 million, 32,300 square-foot indoor attraction featuring more than 3 million LEGO bricks, geared towards children ages 3-10 and their families.  Its range of educational and interactive attractions will include hands-on play areas, a 4D cinema, the Master Builder Academy, two LEGO amusement rides, special party rooms and MINILAND — the venue’s signature re-creation of landmark locations and buildings throughout Westchester County and New York City, made entirely out of more than 1 million LEGO bricks.  Advance tickets and annual passes to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester are available online.  To purchase tickets and annual passes, or for more information, visit www.LEGOLANDDiscoveryCenter.com/Westchester/.  For group sales call 866-243-0770.
