"Most Arrested Rabbi in America" to speak at Temple Beth Abraham 5/18 11:30am

Rabbi Israel “Si” Dresner, activist and Freedom rider, will speak at Temple Beth Abraham about his experience as a lifetime civil rights activist. Rabbi Dresner was one of the original Freedom Riders of the early 1960s.
He worked and walked alongside the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to confront and oppose racism and segregation in the south. In October, 2013, Rabbi Dresner, was honored by President Obama and the First Lady for his courageous civil rights activism in the 1960s.
