Trustee; "Everything's at stake'

The concept that postponing the bulkhead repairs at Ichabod's Landing would somehow make the project less costly a year later is absurd. The deterioration will only get worse and the cost of repairs that much more. If it is to be done anyway, which it will have to be, the sooner the better and the sooner the less expensive. Besides, by the time the Village has to actually pay for it, GM should be paying full taxes, which would reduce the burden on the Village. You don't postpone life-saving surgery till you have the money, so you should not postpone necessary repairs either.
