At a meeting I held at Greenburgh Town Hall on November 19th to discuss the recent Con Ed outages a good suggestion was made:
that we invite the NYS Public Service Commission (which oversees Con Ed) and the new commissions the Governor is appointing to hold a joint meeting with local elected officials and Con Ed in Westchester to discuss the recent Con Ed outages and to develop a plan of action so that the nightmare which residents recently experienced never happens again.
A citizens committee I have formed has been working on developing specific recommendations. I am flying to Florida today to visit my in-laws so won't be able to attend the meeting with Con Ed.
