Irvington Honors Lieutenant Who Aided with Tarrytown Arrest

Following an interrupted burglary attempt on Benedict Avenue last summer, police tracked down a career criminal suspect.

Among the several "exceptional service" and "life-saving" honors handed out to various members of the Irvington Police Department recently was an award for Lt. Michael Morano, who aided Tarrytown Police in tracking down a burglary suspect last year.

Morano, according to Irvington Police Chief Michael Cerone, located career criminal Nathaniel K. Greenhill last August after he allegedly broke into a Benedict Avenue with the intent of burglarizing it.
