Out with the Yellow, in with the Orange
The new Sleepy Hollow pumper truck is here and proud of her orange roots, just in time for her Halloween debut.
Take a tour of the truck from Columbia Hose Captain Carlos Romero and Chief John Korzelius. She arrived Thursday from the Wisconsin plant where she was created with care in a mere 26 working days.
As for the 20-plus-year-old yellow pumper out front? She'll likely be sold to Rome, New York where she will have a new life with another department who can tinker with her rusty parts.
