Police: 16-Time Valentine's Day Caller

Sleepy Hollow Police report that a man complaining of his ex-girlfriend's harassment received 16 calls from her while he was in police headquarters.

Valentine's Day is a day to remember your loved ones, and, for one woman in Sleepy Hollow, a day to remember those you allegedly want to fight.

On Feb. 14 at 1:39 p.m., a man came into Sleepy Hollow police headquarters reporting he was having problems with his ex-girlfriend/the mother of his children.

The woman had been calling nonstop and supposedly threatening to give the kids to Child Protective Services. In the latest call she reportedly said she wanted to fight him.

While in the police station, police report the man’s cell phone rang 16 times with the ex-girlfriend calling from the house line.

Officers went to the house to speak to with the woman and complete a domestic incident report.
