Here is a summary of incidents in Sleepy Hollow for August 22, 2011.
August 22
5:40 p.m. Officers responded to a Cortlandt Street residence on a report of a stolen bicycle. After taking the report and conducting an investigation, officers located the bicycle in a residence on Beekman Avenue. At about 7:15 p.m., officers located the suspected culprit in a Beekman Avenue residence. He was there in violation of an Order of Protection despite the apartment's resident not being home. Jose G. DeJesus, 24, was taken into custody and charged with Burglary in the Second Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th and Criminal Contempt Second Degree. He was remanded to the County Jail to return to court on Monday August 29th.
