The Sleepy Hollow Police Department reported the following incidents:
1:10 p.m. Workers were attempting to fix the Christmas lights on a light pole on Beekman Avenue. One man was on a ladder when the light pole started to shake, began to tip over, and fell, striking a village vehicle. The vehicle's roof and windshield were damaged. Worker, who jumped off the ladder, refused medical attention and stated he was okay. The light pole was found to be very rusted at the base.

Many reports of students on the move, looking for a place to fight:
3:12 p.m. A caller reported a large group of youths by with a fight in progress. Large groups were dispersed by both Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown police. At 3:29, groups of youths had started to build up again by . The area was reported cleared, with no fight occurring. But by 3:45, a caller reported groups of youths on Hudson Street looking like they were about to fight. Group was reported moving upon police arrival and no fighting was observed. On Dec. 14, another call came in for a fight apparently about to break out in front of . Officers reported all in order at the time and monitored the area.
10:09 p.m. Caller stated that her wallet, car keys and house keys were missing. She had them on Dec. 9 prior to going to the hospital to give birth. The wallet reportedly contained $750, an insurance card, debit card, American Express credit card, and a New York State driver's license. Wallet was described as a brown check book-style Coach brand. The keys were attached to her wallet.
7:59 p.m. Caller stated a female, aged 16, was being harassed on Facebook by a known student from SHHS. She stated she had spoken with the principal and guidance counselor, who advised her to contact the police. Caller was told to print out all the comments made by the accused on the website and bring them to headquarters to determine the crime.
3:54 p.m. Complainant in headquarters reported that an unknown person was attempting to use his identity to secure auto insurance, health insurance, and admission to several universities. Complainant just requesting a report made at this time.
