The reported the following incidents:
11:17 a.m. Detective reported construction equipment (tamping machine) was stolen from site at Hudson Harbor condominiums. Officer filed case for grand larceny.
9:39 p.m. Security from the reported that a Coach bus was picking up students that may have been underage in possession of alcohol. Officers located bus on South Broadway. An investigation revealed numerous underage alcohol violations. Defendants issued summons for possession of alcohol under the age of 21, with a return court date of Feb. 15. Bus operator to return students back to the school and alcohol was confiscated by the driver.
7:42 p.m. Officer reported traffic stop at Route 9 and Route 87 southbound with NY plates. Driver and passenger were placed under arrest for criminal possession of a controled substance. Additional passenger arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana. Car impounded and defendants transported to headquarters. Numerous departments contacted for K-9 drug dog availability. Yonkers PD sent a drug dog to assist with vehicle search. Drug evidence and $402 cash was placed into locker. One defendant processed and released for court on Feb. 15; others were held pending arraignment and processing. Both reported to county jail (for $5,000 bail and no bail) for a return court date of Feb. 8.
1:02 a.m. 7-Eleven employee at corner of Main and Broadway requested police assistance because a man had locked himself into the employee bathroom at the store and was refusing to come out. Officer reported that the man had exited the bathroom and attempted to run out of the store. When stopped and interviewed by officers, the officers found 8 unpaid for 5-hour energy drinks in his jacket pockets, worth approximately $30 total. Man was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters; witness statements and owner's deposition from store employee were obtained. Defendant released on $100 cash bail for return court of Feb. 8. Banned person form also filed.
1:55 a.m. Again, someone at the train station. Today police received a 911 call transferred from state police, reporting a party stuck in an elevator. When party got on the line she stated the doors had opened and she was out. Metro North operator notified of possible elevator problem.
9:23 a.m. Driver came into headquarters to report that she was involved in a minor motor vehicle accident on South Broadway. She was driving north on Route 9 in her Toyota Prius in the area of 303 South Broadway when she was sideswiped on the passenger side of her vehicle by an Audi with NY plates when the other vehicle merged into traffic. The driver who was hit attempted to exchange information with the other driver but the older female refused and drove away. The driver followed the older woman to the Tarrytown train station parking lot and again tried to exchange information with her however the woman again refused, exited her vehicle, and got onto a train.
12:46 p.m. Here are the police report details of the : Irvington police reported a possible body on the rocks south of the Tappan Zee Bridge in the vicinity of Lyndhurst mansion. MTA police, NYS police notified and responded. Medical examiner notified to respond to the Tarrytown Boat Dock. Tarrytown Fire Department boat responded. Medical examiner redirected to scene. MTA emergency services unit on scene and will remove body for medical examiner. NYS state police investigator on scene to handleinvestigation. Pronouncement by examiner made at 2:50 p.m.
