Police: Car vs. Bus Sign and Village Drain

Tarrytown police report some damages to village and Bee-Line bus property in a one-car accident on Rosehill Avenue.

A driver reported a car accident at Rosehill Avenue on Feb. 27 at 5:26 p.m. that resulted in damage to the car, a sign and a storm drain.

Officers on the scene said the 1997 gold Lexus involved in a one-car accident required towing.

Police contacted the DPW foreman for possible damage to a storm drain and notified the county Bee-Line bus company about a bus sign that was knocked down in the incident.

Various car accidents happened on the very steep Rosehill Avenue during November's Nor'Easter. Read more on those here.
