Sleepy Hollow Police arrested nine underage drinkers at the Huddle Bar on June 23 at 1:45 a.m., shutting down the bar for the night and referring the establishment to the State Liquor Authority.
A Sleepy Hollow Police Sergeant reported that police were making a compliance check at the Beekman Avenue bar that morning. They requested EF school security to respond as many of the parties they allegedly found to be drinking there without a license were EF students.
Officers reported the arrest of nine people for possession of alcohol under the age of 21. They said seven of them were EF students without valid ID and the students could not provide their specific years of birth.
All nine were released with court appearance tickets; the EF students turned over to EF security.
The bar was closed for the night and the police issued a alcohol law infraction referral to the State Liquor Authority.
