There were two dog bite incidents in the latest round of Sleepy Hollow police blotters:
On Dec. 20 at 2:57 p.m., a Bellwood Avenue resident called police to report that his dog bit his neighbor’s dog in the throat and the other dog ran away. He said the neighbor’s dog was the aggressor.
Police were sent to the scene where they reported that the caller was uncooperative and became highly agitated when asked to provide evidence of his dog’s rabies vaccination and village license. The caller refused to show police a dog license and said he did not wish to pursue a complaint at this time.

The next day, an officer reported he had been bitten by a white Maltese dog on Bedford Road. An animal bite form was completed.
