One of the underage drinkers is listed as being 21 years old. If 21 is the legal age, why the summons?

My apologies, that was my typo, person was 20. Thanks for the catch!

Thank god that Red O'Brien never permitted underage drinking in the original Huddle!

NO violations for serving to persons under 21? Did they present false ID?
When I was 16, I went to Playland (not the amusement park) in NYC and got my first fake ID. I was a Suny college student :) I remember one cold, rainy night me and about 7 other friends took shelter from the rain in a bar that later became the Sante Fe restaurant. I was 18, legal at the time, everyone else was 17. Sakofsky, a cop, was walking the beat and peeked in the window. One of the girls yells, "cop" and all the 17 year old kids darted out through the empty Kitchen and onto the back stairs. Standing a few seconds in the cold drizzle, the one girl said, "oh my God, all of our drinks, Pocketbooks and Jackets are at bar, he's going to wonder where everyone is!" So, I quickly volunteered to go back in. At this point he had begun a conversation with the bartender. He then looked at me as I took my seat at the bar, with my (then) shoulder length 80's style hair, misted with fresh drizzle and said, where's your friends? While scanning the bar stools with pink and "girly" Jackets draped over them, drinks with umbrellas, not touched. I said calmly, "in the bathroom". He said 5 girls at once? I said, "yeah, you know women", and he smiled and said, yeah, I do" and then went on his way.

This Huddle joint always seems to make the news for bad reason's not sure why it is still open....maybe they need someone to get killed before they close it but I hope that is not what they are waiting for.

Always something at The Huddle. Always. Only a matter of time before something bad happens. With over 78 documented summons in a little over a year (God knows how many are undocumented), I don't understand how it can still be open. Unreal.
Big thanks to the Sleepy Hollow Police Department. Let's see if the Town Board and Mayor ever step up to the plate.

True Story.

Yeah, these kids scream, shout, and fight there way out of the bar. They all come out drunk and get into cars. It's amazing.

I'm starting to have a different view of the Sleepy Hollow PD! I had lost faith in them awhile back but now I applaud their efforts in cracking down on the hoodlums lurking about in front of the huddle trying to hook up with the kids from the exchange school in Tarrytown. One cant even get by on the sidewalk it's so jammed with undesirables preying on our children and the children of our foreign friends who came to The US to get a taste of our culture and what do they get instead? Thugs from Cortlandt St. or Valley St. trying to get down their skirts. Lets take back our village, lets zero in on the drug dealers while we are at it! Keep up the good work SHPD!

Where is the State Liquor Authority with all of these underage violations?
Krista Madsen (Editor) February 7, 2013 at 03:38 pm
Article says "violations" for bar, so I'm sure as a matter of course there is SLA referral.

Great work SHPD, Lets make sure our village officials, backs you up on your efforts of giving us back our quailty of life ! & Lets keep the "Greenburgh Drug & Task Force" in our village, Great jobs guys !

sure that NYS Liquor authority was behind this whole thing...the SHPD did not step up even though there were numerous complaints from neighbors so it had to take a higher up department to put this into action...
