Police Pull Body From Hudson River

State police stationed in Tarrytown have on Monday confirmed that they pulled human remains from the Hudson River this weekend.

The body was found near Dobbs Ferry on Saturday morning.

Police have not identified the person yet or officially made any link between this and the missing person notice issued on September 4 when Mamaroneck 20-year-old, Denis Lukashkov, left his car on the Tappan Zee Bridge.

However, Sgt. John Maasz told LoHud.com on Saturday, “It appears to be him."

A friend who created a Facebook page called "Denis Lukashkov is missing.  Help is needed," is still holding out hope this isn't the case. "I don't think any scientific identification has been done yet but I guess we'll see," Eugene Belilovsky, a fellow Cornell University student with Lukashkov, writes.
