Police: Sleepy Hollow Man Found with 21 Bags of Heroin in Tarrytown

The Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force reported to Tarrytown police on August 8 at 7:19 p.m. that they had a person in custody on a criminal possession charge in the Walgreens plaza.

Tarrytown police Lt. William Herguth said the 48-year-old man, from Sleepy Hollow, had 21 small bags of heroin on him when police found him at 134 Wildey Street.

He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor.

The man was taken to headquarters, processed and released with a court date.
