At 5:46 a.m. on Dec. 25, police received a report of a driver striking a parked vehicle and attempting to leave the scene.
Two officers responded and reported that the driver had struck a car in front of 95 Beekman Avenue, claiming that she was travelling east on Beekman and had fallen asleep at the wheel.
Her car was considered inoperable from the damages and was towed further down Beekman by Stiloski’s.
Police Chief Gregory Camp said police conducted field tests at the scene and ruled out any suspicion that the woman had been drinking and driving.
