Police: Woman Valet-Parked at DoubleTree Gets Money Stolen

A caller reported to Tarrytown Police that she had her car parked at the DoubleTree hotel by the valet personnel on May 6 at 11:54 a.m., but upon her return she noticed money was missing from her wallet.  

She claimed $48 was taken from her wallet after her car getting parked about an hour prior. Also her iPhone 5 charger was missing.

She said she spoke with the manager of the valet service who said the driver had left the window open mistakenly when he parked the car. The manager made restitution to the caller and the matter was apparently settled.

The woman wanted the incident noted for the record.
