Poor Delivery

A truck heading to the Toll Brothers construction site made a poor route decision, resulting in an accident that stopped North Broadway traffic.

At about 1:20 p.m. on Monday, a flatbed truck carrying supplies to the Toll Brothers construction site in Tarrytown took the back end off of a Toyota 4Runner.

The truck driver was attempting to make the tight turn up Cobb Lane after heading south on Broadway. However, the driver did not realize the street could not accommodate his large truck, and he ended up backing into the 4Runner while attempting to reposition his vehicle.

The street is now cleared, but traffic on North Broadway had been stalled for about 15 minutes while the entanglement was sorted out by Tarrytown Police.

I think Sleepy Hollow should sue Tarrytown for not managing their construction traffic properly. And this is Exhibit No. 1.

Toll Brothers should have given this driver better directions!

Toll Brothers has been instructed by Tarrytown to only use the County House Rd end...this may be a driver that is so glued to his GPS he's not thinking logically...driver error...glad it was only a Toyota he backed into!
