Sleepy Hollow Man Charged with Threatening Official with Pit Bull

A 27-year-old Sleepy Hollow man was charged with menacing and harassment after allegedly threatening a parking enforcement officer with his pit bull, Sleepy Hollow police said.

The parking officer called for police assistance on July 2 at 8:31 a.m., saying that a driver was verbally threatening him on Kendall Avenue.

Police Chief Gregory Camp said the man had been accused of threatening to use the pit bull to attack the parking enforcement officer and was charged with:

  • Menacing in the third degree
  • and harassment in the second degree.

Note: An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
