Sleepy Hollow Police Arrest Seven after Busting Underage Party

Sleepy Hollow police arrested seven underage men and women after they were caught with alcohol at a Beekman Avenue apartment party on Nov. 2 around 11:30 p.m.

A caller reported to police a loud party was going on, which was followed by several other calls.

Police found an underage drinking party in the building, but some of the guests apparently fled the party before police got into the first floor apartment.

Seven were issued tickets to appear in court:

Three women, aged 17, 18 and 19, from Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow along with four men aged 17, 18, 18, and 20 from Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and Ossining were charged with unlawful possession of alcoholic beverage under the age of 21.

Parents of those under 18 were called to pick up their teens. The others were sent on their way.

Police again received a report of loud music at 12:49 a.m. and found youths in the backyard making noise. However police found no sign of alcohol consumption at this time. Officers issued the resident a noise summons.

Note: An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
