Police respond to all sorts of service calls -- reports of "lethargic raccoons" is a big one lately -- but rarely do they do computer repair.
However, Sleepy Hollow police responded to an unusual request recently.
A resident called to ask for police assistance with a family laptop on Dec. 18 at 2:48 p.m.
He told police that he had been looking at pornography online when the computer froze up and would not reset.
The officer went to the home and reported that the caller had cleared the computer before he arrived.
