Sleepy Hollow Police Make Drug Bust



A warrant search of a Wirth Avenue home with the Sleepy Hollow police in conjunction with Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force lead to the arrest of a 19-year-old Sleepy Hollow man on felony charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Numerous police vehicles pulled up to the property on July 2 at 4:08 p.m. to perform a search that lead to an arrest. 

The man, whose name has not been released, was charged with:

Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third, a class B Felony
and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth, a D Felony.

Both charges commonly involve the possession of a narcotic drug with the intent to sell, according to the YPDcrime.com database on NY laws.

Police Chief Gregory Camp said he could disclose no further information about what kind of drugs or the quantity of them allegedly found as the investigation is ongoing.
