Good samaritans restrained a 20-year-old man before he was able to jump off the Tappan Zee Bridge Tuesday, according to New York State Police.

The incident occurred just before 2 p.m., when authorities in Tarrytown began receiving multiple calls reporting a possible jumper on the bridge.
