State Police Search River for Possible Bridge Jumper

State police are searching the Hudson River and region for someone who may have jumped from the Tappan Zee Bridge this morning.

State Police stationed at Troop T at the base of the Tappan Zee Bridge received a call around 4:30 a.m. about an abandoned car on the bridge.

Police found an Honda Accord with no one in it. There was no note but the keys were in the car along with a driver’s license left on the front seat. Based on these items, police launched a recovery operation that’s continued all morning with no results.
