A 911 caller reported to Tarrytown police on Dec. 24 at 4:43 a.m. a possible dispute underway in their neighbor's apartment on Crescent Drive. Officers dispatched heard no evidence of a dispute. However, they reported that when they knocked on the door, a man and woman from inside the closed door told the officers “f___ you” and that they were not coming inside without a warrant. Officers knocked several more times but residents would not open the door.
At 6:02 p.m. the same day, a caller reported to police another domestic dispute at the same residence. Officers requested Tarrytown Volunteer Ambulance Corps for a woman in need of a mental health evaluation, but the woman refused attention at the scene.
Police this time were able to interview the man and woman who reported they were boyfriend and girlfriend, both residing at that address. They were involved in a heated dispute and apparently pushed and hit each other numerous times. The woman refused to cooperate or press charges and demanded no further police action. She left the residence in the officer’s presence.
