Update: 3 Alleged CVS Toiletry Thieves Arrested

Tarrytown Police arrested three young women from Yonkers found with $600 worth of CVS products in their possession; one woman had several active arrest warrants.

Update: the original post has been updated with additional information from the Tarrytown Police Department.

On Sunday December 30 at 9:45 p.m., Tarrytown police received a call from an employee at the new CVS at Bridge Plaza that he was watching people stealing items inside the store.

Police where able to locate three young women as they were exiting the store, all of Yonkers addresses, and arrest them on charges of petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree. Irvington Police assisted in the arrest.

The defendants are:

  • Lawren Tucker, 20, Yonkers
  • Sharhonda Glover, 26, Yonkers
  • Shideara Custis, 21, Yonkers

Found in their possession, said Lieutenant William Herguth, were a “large quantity” of items, valued at approximately $600, including:

Bandaids, lipstick, Clear Eye, Crest Whitening Toothpaste, Nyquil cough medicine, Infamel

“In our experience, people typically steal items and sell them in the city to small stores,” Herguth said.

Glover and Custis both posted $200 bail each and were released with return court dates. Tucker also posted $200 bail with a return court date but was turned over to Yonkers Police Department for an active arrest warrant out of their jurisdiction. Tucker also had an active warrant out of Woodbury Police Department, who said they would not be executing their warrant.
