On December 18, 2012 at about 9:50 p.m. two males came into the Sleepy Hollow Police Department HQ and reported that they were the victims of a robbery, about 20 minutes in the past. Victims were walking in the area of Cortlandt and Depeyster Streets when a vehicle stopped and several occupants exited the vehicle. The suspects physically placed the victims into the vehicle and drove off to a remote location just outside the village boundaries after taking money and personal property from them, where they let the victims out of the vehicle. One of the victims had been physically assaulted and was treated at the Westchester Medical Center for minor injuries.
While walking back into the village, the victims flagged down a passing vehicle and were taken to headquarters. An investigation was conducted and at this time the Sleepy Hollow Police Department has arrested the following subjects, charging them with Robbery 2nd Degree and Unlawful Imprisonment 2ndDegree. A third arrest is pending and the investigation is continuing.
