Investigation started when girl failed to show up for school.

A 34-year-old Port Chester man today is charged with rape after the discovery of a sexual relationship he was having with a 12-year-old girl, according to Port Chester Police.

Rony Montoya of 39 N. Main St., Port Chester, was arrested after a two-day investigation that started as a missing person's report when the victim failed to show up for school, police said.
