Woman Complains of 'Telepathic Harassment'

A woman reported being the victim of telepathic harassment in the Warner Library from a man she said did this to her before.

On December 17 at 3:51 p.m., a Warner Library employee reported to police that they had a woman at the library possibly in need of assistance. The woman had told library staff that she was being harassed telepathically and would like to speak to an officer.

An officer on the scene spoke to the woman who said she was being harassed telepathically by a man sitting in a different room in the library. She said he was sending her inappropriate messages and she wanted an officer to tell him to stop. She also said this had happened before and the police had a record of this.

The officer talked to the man in question who said he had had no contact with the woman on this day. About one month ago near Walgreens he said the same woman had accused him of similar things.

A witness corroborated that the man had no contact in the library with the woman, and that the woman appeared to be making things up. The woman was advised of her options and she requested police blotter documentation only.
