Today, Monday, June 4 at 8:20 am in a speech to the Westchester Business Council at in Tarrytown, U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer will lay out his efforts to help grow the Lower Hudson Valley economy in three main sectors over the next several years.
U.S. Senator for New York addressed this group with her optimistic plan for our area back in February.
During his speech, Schumer will unveil new initiatives and provide an update on current progress in the biotechnology industry, the food and beverage cluster, and a series of waterfront development projects up and down the Hudson River.
Schumer will also announce several new plans to help grow these sectors of the economy, which he believes will be the major engines of job and economic growth in the region over the next several years. Schumer will address the business council members and then take questions on a wide range of economic development issues.
