Tarryown Board to Rename Commuter Lots

Wednesday's work session agenda includes discussion of West Main Street parking, election resolutions, sidewalk cafe fees, budget prepartion and naming a parking lot.

Back to work following the holidays, Wednesday night's work session agenda for the Tarrytown Board of Trustees includes the following items, with notes from Village Administrator Mike Blau:

  • West Main Street Circle Parking Restrictions  

Discussion of current restriction and recommendations of the Transportation council regarding the restrictions.

  • Election Resolution  

Annual resolution to be adopted at Board of Trustees meeting on Monday. The resolution designates polling places, hours open, and pay for election inspectors.  All resolutions are reviewed by the Board of Trustees at the Work Session prior to the Board of Trustees agenda.

  • January Work Sessions  

Discussion of upcoming Work Sessions.  

  • Fees – Sidewalk Cafes  

Discussion of fee structure for sidewalk cafes.

  • Budget FY2013/2014  

Discussion of budget preparation process for upcoming fiscal year.

  • Naming of Parking Lots West Side of Railroad Tracks  

Our Village Code lists the parking lot on the west side of the railroad tracks as the non-resident parking lot. Discussion of creating more specific names for the parking lots since there are now three separate parking lots.

The open work session is held 7 p.m., Jan. 2 in Village Hall, One Depot Plaza and is followed by a closed executive session regarding sale of a village property.
