In a 5-2 vote at Wednesday night's special meeting, the Tarrytown budget passed.

Though the tax levy increase subject to the 2 percent tax levy law came in well under at 1.51 percent, the Board still voted to override the cap.
A minor boost to the proposed personnel cuts was the 3.5 hours per week added back in for part-time clerical staff in the Justice Court.
