Open House: Pajama Shabbat… and dinner's on us!

It's Open House (infants through seniors warmly welcome) next Friday night June 14 and Saturday morning June 15 at Pleasantville Community Synagogue (Joyful Judaism!).

Everyone – and we mean everyone - is welcome and warmly invited. Families with young children; empty-nesters; intermarried; multi-racial; LGBT; wherever you locate yourself, we hope you’ll find your way here.

For the littlest ones (up to age 5) the evening includes another “Pajama Shabbat” service. And If you’re thinking about Hebrew School the Friday night dinner would be an ideal time to meet our new principal Galit Sperling. We only ask that if you’re coming to the dinner you RSVP to info@shalomPCS.com or (914) 769-2672 so we know how many places to set.

Here’s a rundown of what we have planned.

Friday Night:
5:45 pm: Doors open 6:00 pm: Pajama Shabbat service (children up to 5 encouraged to come in their PJ’s) 6:15 pm: Delicious Shabbat dinner (all ages welcome) 7:15 pm: Evening service, featuring the PCS House Band 8:15 pm: Celebratory “Oneg Shabbat” refreshment hour.

Saturday Morning:
9:00 am: Meditation (beginners welcome) 9:30 am: Joyful Shabbat morning service followed by festive communal lunch at Noon, followed by Torah study.   We hope to see you there.
