Campbell, Glaser Prevail in Greenburgh School Board Vote

Incumbent board members Deborah Campbell and Claudia Glaser were re-elected to the Greenburgh Board of Education Tuesday, according to officials.

Candidates Jeffrey Barnes and Cora Carey, the other two candidates in the race, lost their bids for one of the two seats.

Additionally by nearly a 2-to-1 margin, Greenburgh residents approved the proposed school spending plan for next year of $63.4 million. Residents of adjacent communities Scarsdale ($148.2 million) and Tarrytown ($71.2 million) also approved their school spending plans.
