The College Board, a not-for-profit membership organization committed to excellence and equity in education and connecting students to college success and opportunity, visited to film a segment for their public service announcement entitled, “Don’t Forget Ed.”
"Don't Forget Ed" is a national movement that seeks to elevate the topic of education inthe presidential campaign. The national, grassroots effort will provide students and others concerned about education a vehicle to press for education to be a priority during the political contest of 2012. “Don't Forget Ed” officially launches in June and will continue through Election Day in November.
Featured in the public service announcement are Sleepy Hollow High School’s facilities, students, and faculty. Teachers Leila Madani, Jason Choi, and Carlos Matute were interviewed for the PSA along with Assistant Principal Anthony Baxter.
The sitting fee paid to Sleepy Hollow High School by the College Board will be used to help underwrite next year’s College Tour for Sleepy Hollow High School’s students.
