Thanks to Dr. Lauren Allen of the Ardsley schools for sending Patch this note she wrote to parents about Thomas Holland:
At last night’s Board of Education meeting we accepted the resignation of Mr. Holland, the principal of Concord Road Elementary School. Mr. Holland has been named principal of the Morse Elementary School in Tarrytown, NY.
We thank Mr. Holland for his five years of service and the contributions he has made to the Ardsley School District. We extend our congratulations to him and wish him much luck and success in his new position.
In anticipation of the resignation, we placed an ad in the NY Times a few weeks ago. Now that Mr. Holland has been officially appointed in Tarrytown and his resignation accepted in Ardsley, we can begin the screening and hiring process for a new principal. We fully expect to have a new principal in place by July 1, 2012.
