Sleepy Hollow Girls win 5th game, Play at County Center Thursday

On Friday the Sleepy Hollow girls varsity basketball team defeated Hastings 54-42 in a league matchup.  Other than a shaky second quarter, Sleepy Hollow dominated Hastings, playing under new coach Catherine Andrews.

The team plays against White Plains this Thursday at 11 AM at the County Center in their first appearance at the annual Slam Dunk Tournament.  The boys team plays Poughkeepsie Friday at 10 AM. 

Friday and Saturday the girls team travels to Hastings for the Hastings tournament. Friday at noon they play Yonkers; then Saturday at 12 or 4 PM against Hastings or Yorktown, based on the opening round results.
