__Jos Niforos’ head is spinning with new names for his book shop. The sweet (and smart) little shop on Center Street, buying and selling books and records, is now called The Spinning Head. Call first to check times as he has limited his hours. (914) 564-6527.

__Seemingly overnight, Isabella's Bistro, open since 2004, was shuttered. New signs of life quickly emerged though as workers are readying the space for another restaurant. A new American restaurant The Twisted Oak is coming soon to 61 Main Street, from Jacob Parenti and chef Michael Cutney from the Newburgh/New Paltz area. Their this is first venture and they hope to open in December.
