'Join the Huddle' Tour Makes it First Stop in Sleepy Hollow

The already-high energy level leading up to Sleepy Hollow High School’s homecoming victory against Ossining on Saturday, got an additional boost from a pre-game visit from County Executive Robert Astorino, who along with his son Sean, helped kick off the “Join the Huddle” tour on our turf.

The NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee’s “Join the Huddle” shuttle gives fans a chance to enter a recreated locker room full of Giants and Jets memorabilia, to see the Vince Lombardi Trophy, to take a speed and agility challenge, and even do a little touchdown dance.

The shuttle will be touring the region up to Super Bowl XLVIII, held on Feb. 2 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

Where it goes is up for grabs: Area high school students can enter to win a visit from the Huddle Shuttle at their school by submitting a two-minute video demonstrating how their school supports this year’s NY/NJ Super Bowl, and how they exemplify the philanthropic Super Bowl spirit in the region by giving back to the community.

Entries must be submitted at Facebook.com/NYNJSuperBowl by Nov. 3.

“Westchester is loving all the football action of the Huddle Tour and we’re thrilled the big game will be right in our backyard this year,” Astorino said. “From where to watch to where to stay, we want to make sure Westchester is your end zone for the big game.”
