_Tarrytown's Board is holding their work session tonight with some major points on the agenda: possible rezoning for Tappan Zee Constructors to continue operations on the riverfront, going out to bid for RiverWalk park maintenance, and the county's plans to replace Tarrytown's force main line.

Bridge: The board will be reviewing draft legislation to allow for the TZC's operation out of Hudson Harbor headquarters. There are working out a zoning text amendment that would sunset when the bridge is completed and TZC leaves, allowing for them to park and get on boats as well as have office trailers situated there.

RiverWalk: Village Administrator Mike Blau said the volunteer Friends of the RiverWalk weren't the only ones weeding and grooming the park, but the one hired man the village offered wasn't sufficient. "The Village hired someone last year whose sole responsibility was the RiverWalk. However the work is beyond what one person can do," Blau explained. "If the Board approves the bid, the company we would hire would maintain all of the RiverWalk and the volunteers would perform a number of projects on the RiverWalk and they would work directly with the Village and our contractor."

New Pipes: The County is planning to replace the force main in Tarrytown and leave the old main in the ground.
